Nicole and Eric’s beautifully classic wedding took place at the Hotel Palomar in Chicago’s River North district. The entire wedding was filled with the rich cultural traditions of Judaism, from a ketubah signing to the breaking of a glass.
This fun wedding took place entirely in Chicago’s River West neighborhood, with portraits new the Chicago mural on Ohio Street and under the Fulton Market sign. The ceremony and reception took place at The Dawson.
The visual richness found in Indian weddings always amazes and inspires me as a photographer and artist, and Mona and Todd’s beautiful day was no exception. This Indian Fusion wedding at The Drake Hotel in Chicago actually happened the day after the ceremony, on January 15th of this year.
Claire and Aaron’s intimate Chicago wedding took place at the Thompson Hotel in the Gold Coast, with a beautifully cozy dinner reception following in the library of Gilt Bar in River West. This was the couple’s second marriage, so they chose to go the short and sweet route. Claire’s son walked her down the aisle, where Aaron met her with a big smile and lots of laughter sprinkled the ceremony. Afterwards, the couple chose to forego any big portrait sessions, dancing, or speeches. Instead, friends and family gathered together and simply mingled in joyful celebration.
Kristy and Chris got married last summer, just a few short months after I photographed their engagement session I’ve been excited about this gorgeous couple since photographing their engagement session in downtown. I swear they have the funniest almost-met moments ever!
There’s something incredibly special about a tiny, intimate wedding with only immediate family present. Lauren and Rob got married at Holy Name Cathedral in downtown Chicago with a full mass and all of their children present.
Surrounded by family and friends, Mona and Derrick’s wedding day took place at Galleria Marchetti on the seventh of May. I particularly loved all the unscripted moments of fun in the midst of the celebration, such as when Mona surprised Derrick with the arrival of the MI State mascot!
