Winter Engagement by the Chicago River – Anh & Matt

Anh and Matt live in Dallas and are eloping in Chicago this summer! This delightful couple flew into town on one of the absolutely coldest days of the year for their engagement session. The sort of day that has you holding (gloved) hands in each other’s pockets for extra warmth while you stroll around town. They wanted to take their engagement portraits by the Chicago River despite the weather and I was happy to oblige! Both Anh and Matt are architects and love all the gorgeous and unique architecture downtown Chicago has to offer. (If you’ve never taken the Chicago Architecture Foundation Center River Tour, I highly recommend it! Such a neat way to learn about our city!) Despite the chilly weather, Anh kept us all smiling with her contagious laughs. I’m really looking forward to photographing this couple’s wedding this summer!
