Engagement Portraits at Ping Tom Memorial Park and White Palace – Ryan + Sarah

Bright splashes of red, Chinese pavilions, and big bowls of ice cream (topped with cherries, of course!) come together in these adorable, South Loop portraits. Sarah and Ryan’s engagement session took place at Ping Tom Memorial Park in Chinatown, with additional photos taken at White Palace, a fun little diner on the corner of Roosevelt and Canal. I’ve walked past this diner a million times without every having popped inside. It proved to be the perfect spot for photos, however, with its vibrantly striped walls. That ice cream sundae, besides making for an incredibly fun prop, looked delicious, too! Both Sarah and Ryan share a love for music. Sarah is currently studying music at DePaul University, while Ryan travels the country with Dallas Brass, a brass quintet. I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in a week at the Boarding House!
